I specialize in the experience of pain—emotional pain, psychological pain, and physical pain. With yoga therapy, we find our way out of pain on the journey inward. We journey into the experience of pain, to release it. And we strengthen inside, outside, and around ourselves in order to support the pain into healing what has injured us.
Pain is informative. Transformational. And, as contradictory as it may seem, it can be an informational gift because it directs us into a path of becoming more than we have been. So much more. But, before we get there, let’s be clear; pain also SUCKS.
Within my own intimate experiences with pain, I became invested in healing my body, my heart, and my mind. This investigative experience is the portal to why and how I became a yoga therapist, but more importantly, it is why I treasure my very brave and wonderful clients.
I love people who choose life. I treasure people who fight for their right to peace, health and joy. I’m awed by those who actively journey into transformation.
The skills I teach are transformational. They are healing. And, they really do work. Let’s find out together what your pain is telling you, and give it what it needs so that it can move on.
As ever, my heart honors yours,
Sara
